Fix 1: Check Discord Server Status
If something went wrong with your Discord server, including discord screen share or no audio, the first thing you have to check is Discord server status. You can find ongoing issues via the official Twitter handle, i.e., @Discordapp.
If you see any ongoing issue, it may be a problem with Discord’s end or maintenance. In this case, wait till the developer resolve the issue. If servers are up, then there might be some other issue.
Fix 2: Restart Your Computer
Some programs and processes running in the background cause conflict with Discord. For example, it causes audio problems while streaming. For that, try to restart your pc. A restart will remove the current state of all software and offer a fresh start.

Step 1: Launch the Discord app on your PC and click on the setting gear on the screen.
Step 2: Next, open the Game activity and click on Add it tab.
Step 3: It will open a drop-down menu. Here choose the program you want to share.
Step 4: Click on Add Game and without forgetting toggle on the Overlay option.
Step 5: Close all windows and check for the problem.
Fix 6: Update Audio Driver
The common reason for Discord no audio error in screen sharing is the outdated or missing driver. There are two ways to update your sound drivers. One is manually, and another one is with tools like Driver Easy.
Manual driver update takes your time, and if you don’t know how to do it, we suggest you use any automatic driver updater tool. It recognizes your system and finds the correct drivers for your pc.
Update driver manually:
Step 1: Open device manager from the taskbar.
Step 2: Next, open sound video and game controller drivers. And choose the respective driver from your system.
Step 3: Right-click on Search automatically for updated driver software. Now choose the update driver option.
Step 4: It will update your driver. If windows do not find a new driver, go to the manufacturer’s website, find the driver, and install it.
Note:
An alternative way to get the latest driver is by uninstalling the driver. For example, open the sound driver, right-click on it and click on Uninstall. Now restart your pc, and windows will reinstall the latest driver.
Update driver automatically:
You can use any driver updater for automatic driver updates. Here I am showing you the steps for Driver Easy. There are two versions; free and pro. You can start with the free version.
Step 1: Download Driver Easy from its website and install it like we usually do.
Step 2: Run the software and click on the scan now tab.
Step 3: Now, it will find all faulty or outdated drivers. Then, click on the Update button.
Step 4: And wait till the process completes. Then, restart your pc and check whether Discord is running correctly or not.
Fix 7: Clear Discord Roaming Data
Temp Discord files and improper account settings can cause discord screen share audio not to work. Try to clear Discord roaming data by following these steps.
Step 1: Exit from Discord completely.
Step 2: Now type %appdata% in the search bar and press enter key.
Step 3: Now, you can see various folders. Here find the Discord folder, right-click on it and select Delete.
Step 4: Relaunch Discord and check audio in video streaming.
Fix 8: Update Discord
Discord shares regular updates to fix all the bugs. If you are not updating Discord regularly, it is time to update it. Due to the outdated version, sound errors on Discord screen-sharing might be possible. And it is also possible that a new update has solved this error.
Step 1: Press the Windows key and R together, and it will open the Run search box.
Step 2: Now, type or copy-paste %localappdata% and press enter.
Step 3: Now, double click on Discord >> Update.exe.
Step 4: Wait till the update completes and relaunch the Discord.
Fix 9: Temporary Disable Your Antivirus
Your antivirus can be a core problem for discord screen share no audio. To find it, you have to disable your antivirus temporarily. First, disable your antivirus and check whether the problem persists or not.
If, after disabling antivirus, your Discord works appropriately, contact the service provider to find a solution. Or you can install alternative options.
Note: When you disable your antivirus, do not visit unknown or unsafe websites or unknown emails as they may contain the virus.
Fix 10: Reinstall Discord

Step 1: In the windows search bar, type the control panel.
Step 2: Now, change the view by preference by category and find uninstall a program on your screen.

Step 5: Now, download and install Discord by following all instructions.
Step 6: Relaunch Discord, login into it, and check sound came back or not.
Fix 11: Check Audio Settings on PC
If any app or game is using screen share and not getting audio, chances are there that there is some audio problem in your device, not in Discord. So first, check, that the input device is selected and Discord is allowed. Second, check microphone settings.
Step 1: In the windows’ search bar, type Microphone privacy settings and press enter.
Step 2: It will open the Microphone setting window. Toggle on the Allow apps to access your microphone option.
Step 3: Scroll down and check the list of applications that have access to the microphone. Make sure Discord and other application are on the list. Make sure, Discord and other applications are on the list.

Step 4: You will find a sound icon on your taskbar; right-click on it.
Step 5: Select the recording tab followed by the recording device. If you have selected the wrong name, right-click on the correct name and choose to enable and Set as the default device options.
Step 6: Restart your pc and launch Discord.
Fix 12: Avoid Full Screen
There is malfunctioning in the screen share, which is the full-screen mode. Many users faced the same problem and resolved it simply by not using full-screen mode. Unfortunately, full-screen mode conflicts with Discord permission and game access and does not transmit audio.
Try to use the app or game in minimized format. Restart your pc before doing it. For games, you will find the Windowed mode for the video option. Using it, you can easily adjust sides.
Fix 13: Use Push to Talk

You can stop automatic detection and jump to Push to Talk. When you choose Push to talk, you have to push a specific key to capture the audio. The key is specified in your app.
Fix 14: Check Affected Application
